For the past 29 years, the Dripping Springs Empty Bowls Project has brought together chefs, potters and musicians to host an event brimming with great food, fellowship and fun in support of Helping Hands' mission to provide a framework of compassionate care to our neighbors in need.
The Empty Bowls Project has evolved to become the largest annual fundraiser for the Dripping Springs Helping Hands food pantry. The benefit accounts for more than 70% of their annual budget. Helping Hands is a 100% volunteer, equal opportunity organization focused on helping neighbors in need.

THE EVENT
BEAUTIFUL BOWLS
Many patrons come to the Empty Bowls Project to support Helping Hands, but they also look forward to the fun of choosing the perfect bowl to take home! With more than a thousand unique bowls to choose from, there’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see what favorites are selected each year.
DELICIOUS SOUPS
Each year, more than 150 gallons of delicious, homemade soup are donated by over 30 local chefs. That's enough for approximately 1,200 bowls! With a variety of recipes and options for every palate, the Empty Bowls Project celebrates great food while raising awareness and supporting for a great cause.
LIVE & LOCAL
Good food and great music make the Empty Bowls Project a very special experience! Over the years, talented local musicians have brought everything from Western swing and bluegrass to folk-rock and country to the event, creating a lively atmosphere for guests to enjoy while sharing a meal with family and friends.
